Daniel was born on July 23rd 1962 in Sydney, Nova Scotia. Educated at Dalhousie University, Halifax and George Brown College, Toronto. He founded the da da kamera theatre group. He is artist in residence for Buddies in Bad Times. As well as being a playwright he has written and directed several films - as well as appearing on television and in films as an actor.
