Frank Moffett Mosier     Duchess of Santiago, The
Company
Synopsis:

Ann-Elizabeth, eighteen, daughter of liberal Wasps, discovers the Santiago family living in peaceful squalor, and sets about to upgrade their lifestyle and aspirations, using her generous allowance as capital. She does everything right-from her viewpoint-and it all turns out horribly for the six Santiagos. She degenerates into a nobless'oblige patroness, the family disintegrates and Angel-the teen-age Santiago son-vainly tries to warn her away from his family and finally kills her. In personal terms, a parable of the evils of the welfare state.

Frank Moffett Mosier     Satyr Play, The
Company
Synopsis:

Silenus, a real satyr, has been genetically engineered as a park curiosity in a future society where apartheid separates the chaotic masses of the old inner cities from the emotionally insulated middle class, dwelling in park-surrounded suburbs. Silenus plots with city revolutionaries to destroy the society of which his grotesquerie is a symbol. In his forest-glen (exterior) home, on ~'D-Day," he masks his purpose by hosting a bacchanalian revel. He destroys the suburbs with hidden neutron bombs, and is killed by the revellers. A young urbanite revolutionary and a non-conformist suburban schoolgirl escape together to help rebuild a society.
