Synopsis:
Jimmy Macintosh is a man in his seventies, a victim of amnesia. He believes that he is the last surviving member of the Dillinger gang and has been look-ing for "Johnny" the past forty years. He falls into the clutches of a practical nurse, Rosie Freeman, who first befriends him then betrays him to the police in a replay of "the woman in red." Rosie's patient, Esther and two children from upstairs contribute their own poignant stories to the theme of lost identities.
