JODY KAY LITMAN's (Performer, Book and Lyrics) MONSTER IN MY BRAIN won Top Ten Finalist in the Blank Canvas Giveaway Contest at [spaceonwhite]. She has performed at Ensemble Studio Theatre, Uprights Citizens Brigade, Gotham City Improv and is a proud member of Actors' Equity Association. Her film credits include Angela Mills in Frank Lisi's A SICILIAN TALE with Vinny Vella. She sang AVE MARIA on the soundtrack. She was Party Woman in DAY ZERO with Elijah Wood and a photo double for Uma Thurman in SUPER EX-GIRLFRIEND. She can be seen as Joan, in web sitcom, IN MEN WE TRUST at wetv.com. As a playwright she has written part of an OLEANNA Response, A WHOLE NEW BALLGAME presented at Pittsburgh's City Theatre, THE QUEST a musical revue of parts for women in musical theatre history performed at Purnell Studio Theatre in Pittsburgh, DON'T EVER a one act play written and presented at the National Theatre Institute in Connecticut, V-8, FRED: THE AMERICAN HERO, and JUNK, one act plays written and presented at Ensemble Studio Theatre. She studied acting at the Pittsburgh CLO Academy, Carnegie Mellon University, and the National Theatre Institute in London and Connecticut. She is currently studying with Penny Templeton and David Jones.
