LIPSERVICE
Hector's House

Synopsis:
A torrid tale of Trojans, togas and taramasalata. When Paris nicked off with Helen, who would have dreamed of all the fuss that was to follow? A cast of three actors, with a little help from the audience recreate the legend. Meet Agamemnon, Menelaus, Philoctetes and a host of other unpronounceable characters. But perhaps less familiar will be Ajax, he of the very white toga and his brothers Vim and Jif. . .Projected high above the action on a satellite link-up are the Gods, Zeus and his forgetful secretary Amnesia. The audience are variously the Greek and Trojan armies and are asked to assist in the launching of a thousand ships. There are also handy hints - how to lace your sandals to stop them flopping down your leg, how to keep your toga crease free and how to explain in a tactful way that in a hot-headed moment you've slain your wife's family.

LIPSERVICE
Horror For Wimps

Synopsis:
Maggie Fox and Sue Ryding have always been terrified of horror movies or indeed anything involving the remotest drop of bloodletting. Famously during a screening of Wild at Heart, they buried their heads in the back of the seat in front, glancing up only occasionally before disappearing off to Marks and Spencers to buy winceyette pyjamas. So don't worry, if you too are faint-hearted, this show has been written with you in mind. You should be able to watch it right the way through without having to nip out to buy nightwear. When the going gets gory, the characters simply skip channels, watch the adverts or change the language to Japanese. There may be the occasional swivelling head and severed hand but nothing you can't cope with.

LIPSERVICE
Inspector Norse

Synopsis:
A Swedish self-assembly crime thriller. It is bitter mid-winter. Ex-pop-star recluse Freya looks out of her log cabin at a rural winter scene. She smiles and turns back to her meatballs. But who is the stranger Nordic walking across the frozen wastes? In a fur hat. With a chisel. Days later a man is found dead in a barn nearby with a bizarre message carved on his forehead. Enter Inspector Sandra Larsson in her authentic, rustic knitwear. With her own personal life unravelling before our eyes, it is up to her to follow the pattern of a mystery with many holes.

Move Over Moriarty

Synopsis:
as in so many of Conan Doyle's originals, this Holmes story begins in Holmes's study as the great man reflects on his past triumphs while smoking his pipe and playing the violin when a young woman arrives with an irresistible mystery. In this case, the mystery involves a threat to her father's life at the theatre, an acrobat who lost his mind after an accident that killed his brother, threatening notes made from letters cut from The Times and some strange appearances of Garibaldi biscuits. Oh, and there's a hound from Hell on the moors too.

Women On The Verger - An Aga Saga

Synopsis:
The aga in this aga-saga spoof has a gothic-shaped door which is handy because, in Louise ann Wilson's witty design, it doubles as the Little Pocklington parish church. There must, in real life, be hundreds of vicar's wives who find sexual satisfaction with their husbands. They just don't get much of a look in in literature.
