Synopsis:
The most famous love story, 5 boys, 5 girls, 1 room, 2 hours, an experiment. This is Shakespeare wrapped in a towel, singing to himself in the mirror. This is Shakespeare sweating it up on a football field, mud underneath his nails, quiffing his hair and pashing girls. It is raw, dirty, and full of life and death. It is a rough, gutteral and honest-ish experience that explores the irrational and powerful nature of love.

Samson

Synopsis:
I don't wanna be an astronaut. Do you think my dreams are shit? Essie, Beth, Sid and Rabbit are growing up in a town on the edge of the rest of the world, plagued by boredom, decay and violence. Grappling with their own existence and grasping hopelessly at the future, they find themselves imagining heaven and dreaming of hell. Samson is a startlingly funny and touching Australian coming-of-age story about grieving, the search for belief and the discovery of beauty in unlikely places.

Notes:
part of National Play Festival. Samson was initially developed with the support of La Boite Theatre Company through the 2013 playwrights-in-residence program.
