Biography of Ryan Letizia

Ryan Letizia (aka Arturo Van Deligue) is the creator of "The Nightsail Chronicles", a saga of six installments including "Don Claude Devious", "Cannibal Rapture", "Dark Night Of The Soul", "Entertaining For Satan", "Don Claude Returns", and "Don Claude Eternity". He hopes to develop these in a number of different mediums including the novels, night operas and screenplays. He is the creator of several successful websites including "Dark Knight Of The Soul", the unofficial memorial to Batman: The Musical currently at 30,000 hits and in proud association with the largest Batman site on the web; "Bat Out Of Excess", an observation of the work of legendary songwriter Jim Steinman; and "Someone Like Frank", an exploration of the work of American composer Frank Wildhorn, also serving as global moderator for the official forum. In 2003, Ryan wrote lyrics for a local production of "The Crucible", critically praised as Top 5 best local production of Arthur Miller's classic. From 2003 to 2007, Ryan developed an incomplete musical version of "Nosferatu" with composers based in Melbourne, London and Israel. An instrumental theme from the production was given to the Dalai Lama during his 2006 trip to the Holy Land. In 2003, Ryan co-wrote and performed on a concept album called "My Disease". In 2005, Ryan guided an Australian Meat Loaf Tribute performer who later won Best Judges Award on Channel Nine's Starstruck. He is also writing the lyrics for a 45 minute through-sung adaptation "Madness In Wonderland". September 2009
