| Synopsis: | Paolo Malatesta and Francesca di Rimini feel that they have unfairly been put into Hell by Dante). They appeal to the Devil, who presents them with a challenge - if they can find two people on earth who can love as they did, they'll be transferred to Heaven. Paolo and Francesca arrive in the U.S. in the late 20th century for their attempt at matchmaking between a romance novelist (Fran), and a motivational speaker (Paul).
