| ||||||
Genre: | Comedy Satire | |||||
| Parts: | Male | 5 | Female | 8 | ||
Parts other: | - | |||||
Notes: | 40 minute comedy satire with sock puppets about politics and young people. Casting very flexible.
Synopsis: | This is a play from a supposedly apathetic generation but if you think that young people today don't care about politics then think again. I scripted the play from the young company's improvisations and discovered that, although they are turned off by traditional political parties and disillusioned by politicians themselves, they have a very clear sense of their own values and broadly share a belief in fairness and equal rights for all. Enquring Minds is therefore a warning about the dangers of complacency, apathy and not listening. I care. Do you care? I think we should all care.
