Robert Lehan received his BFA and MFA in Directing from Boston University's School of Theatre Arts intending a directing career. He became a Professor of Theatre Arts however, and for 32 years he directed lots of college plays, taught most aspects of theatre, and worked many seasons of summer stock. He also wrote a baker's dozen of short plays. His first script, THE PROCEDURE, was produced at the Provincetown Playhouse in 1962. Bob continued to dabble at writing over the years, winning several awards along the way. Now a retired Professor Emeritus, he devotes much of his time to scriptwriting.
