Little Lambs Eat Ivy

Synopsis:
Essie has her two daughters staying with her. One is expecting a baby very soon - the other has left her husband. Essie is hopeless with money and the house is constantly under siege by creditors and people coming to cut off the electricity or telephone. The doctor tries to help Essie - he thinks she should marry him and send her children away to stand on their own two feet.
