Jonathan Kronenberger is a writer/director living in New York City. His play, 'Family Night' was selected a winner in Revelation Theatre's Everyday Uncomfortable Play Festival. A collection of his one-act plays, presented under the collective title 'looking4sex,' was well received in December 2004 as part of the Wings Theatre Company's season. Kronenberger also has adapted Shakespeare's 'The Tempest,' 'Love's Labours Lost,' 'Macbeth,' 'A Midsummer Night's Dream' and "The Comedy of Errors" for performance by young adults at the Shakespeare Institute in New Jersey. As a director, Kronenberger has guided the original New York performances of his own works, as well as productions of Craig Lucas' 'Reckless,' Richard Greenberg's 'Eastern Standard,' Doug Cooney's 'Animal Research,' Lanford Wilson's 'The Hot L Baltimore,' among others. He has worked with Circle in the Square Theatre School, Summoners Ensemble, The Aegean Theatre Company, The Cleveland Play House, Seattle's Intiman Theatre and London's Young Vic. Kronenberger holds an MFA from Ohio University.
