Synopsis: | Arthur Ross a scientist was accused and sentenced to prison for giving secrets to the enemy. Now released from prison he and his wife are living under an assumed name in a town in the north of England. A letter to the local newspaper exposes him and he looses his job and he and his wife are evicted from their lodgings. Then a MI5 officer approaches Ross - he is told that it is likely that he will be offered a job and that he should report it immediately to the MI5 man. As this man was responsible for Ross' arrest he refuses to have anything to do with him. | |||||
