Synopsis: | Carrying the torch of experimental theatre pioneers, Khalil presents a multimedia voyage that harkens to the imagistic theater of Eastern Europe. Presented as a series of vignettes, Between the Shadows is an often playful, wordless look at apathy and war. The work combines physical theatre, shadow and object puppetry with strong graphic video and set design by British video artist Jeremy Hutchison. The work is presented with a live musical Soundscore by Zemi 17 and Kelvin Daly. | |||||
