Dickensian Christmas,A

Synopsis:
A Dickensian Christmas is a festive telling of some of English literatures most loved Christmas fables, poetry and music from Dickens to Wordsworth. Set in 1869 in Victorian London the household of 48 Doughty Street gather on Christmas Eve for a tradition long carried out. Developed and devised by the Company in Mike Leigh's method of creative discovery through improvisation, A Dickensian Christmas promises to be an evening of inventive and imaginative story telling. Over 30 wide and varying characters will be portrayed by a cast of 4, in this festive story telling romp through the ages.

Materialistic Desires of the Poor, the Old and the Greedy.

Synopsis:
A financially failing rodent infested pasty shop is hard enough to manage. Throw into the mix an old Scottish battle axe of a woman, and a somewhat naïve and materialistic bound graduate and it is easy to see why owner Kate wants to pack it all in, if only she could. Fortune appears in mysteries ways and when one million pounds of stolen money is accidently swapped for her bag of shopping Kate is given both the challenge and opportunity of a life time. The only question is can she cover her tracks and keep the secret safe with her employees? Whilst passing a food hygiene inspection and keeping hidden from the original burglar now on the hunt for his missing money.

North Pastures

Synopsis:
There is no worse a war than that of civil war and for years civil has has gripped our country. In the isolated farming villages of the north winter is setting in and yet the villagers find themselves stripped of all its men to fight in a war legions away. However with the harvest likely to fail the news that more men are demanded by the king doesn't forebode well for the tiny community. Plotting and secret dealings soon take over and the sons are sent in their fathers place. However in such a small community it never takes long for word to travel and the village is plunged into its own civil conflict. In time when your closest neighbor could be your greatest threat it doesn't take long for the war to find its way into the heart of the rural north.

Rural Matters

Synopsis:
Cornwall is the dream place to move when you wish to retreat to a more slow and easier pace of life. However when ex-city marketing publicist Meg moves to the county she can't help but become Chairwoman for the local village hall and use her expertise to try and save the dilapidated hall from falling down. This outside interjection doesn't go un-noticed and she has a lot of work on her hands to wrestle any kind of change out of the local committee.

Spitfire Women

Synopsis:
1940 and bombers fly nightly over the south east of England unleashing all the might of the third Reich upon the cities of Britain. Rose a refugee of the Blitz takes up residence with her cousins in Kent and begins flying for the RAF's Air Transport Auxiliary. However she comes closer to the realities of war in rural Kent than ever expected, when one night a German pilot is bought down in the field behind her house.
