a Brooklyn native, playwright Daniel J. Kelley's one act and full length plays have been produced in New York, across the U.S and as far away as Italy. His plays include Yes Fear (Gallery Players, NY), the Boy and His Stove (Manhattan ensemble Theatre, NY; the Chance Theatre, Ca; the Liber accademia, Italy) and the Handkerchief Bandit Rides again (MCC Theatre, NY). His latest work, a trilogy of one acts entitled Love, Death and Vengeance, was commissioned for the Lancaster County Day School, and will receive its world premiere there in the fall. He received his B.A. in Playwriting from Sarah Lawrence College in May.

Bulba

Synopsis:
a rollicking mock-epic tragic-comedy about the Dnieper Cossacks, a group of nomadic Ukranian marauders in the 12th Century. Based on the novElla by Gogol, it's the story of Taras Bulba, the leader of the Cossacks, and his son andrei Bulba, who chooses the path of love to the path of war. It features heroic sword fights, original music and a story of star-crossed love between two men.

Synopsis:
a comedy about what happens when superheroes and supervillians lose their jobs, and are faced with the real world of job hunting. Strega Chaos is a villain who is sick of being constantly thwarted, and decides to quit and look for other kinds of work. Love, Death, And Vengeance

Synopsis:
Al Gibbins is horror-stricken. On the eve of the school dance, he has stained his best shirt with ketchup-a tragedy so great he resolves never to see his beloved Lily Droshpat again. He flees, vowing to end his own life. Lily hears of his supposed death and is so heartbroken that she kills herself. With the help of the Gods, Gibbins is able to remove the stain and comes back joyfully, only to find his true love dead. Heartbroken, he vows never to love another for longer than three weeks. Cut to five years later, Gibbins is in college and has fallen head over heels for angelica enebrius. Gibbins decides to journey to Hades to receive Lily's blessing and break the curse. What follows is an epic tale of mythological proportions that follows this love to the very edge of the universe, and beyond

Yes Fear

Synopsis:
a comedy about brotherhood, love and a jewelry store. Leon and Jimmy Midas are two brothers down on their luck who attempt to rob a jewelry store in their own special, ineffective way. What results is not so much a robbery but a series of mishaps and bungles that lead Leon and Jimmy to learn the truth about their relationship to each other.
