Synopsis:
concerns the efforts of Ed Cel, a late-night telephone operator (and former rock disc jockey/college dropout), to come to grips with his past by facing the people he encounters over the phone and in person. Other characters in the play are: Tanya, a sixty-year-old operator who dreams of sky diving; MelonShine, a black wino and "regular" phone customer; Half-Arm, a Viet Nam vet with an arm gone and a drug habit; 482 JM, a psychology major who works the switchboard at the Tidy Night Inn.
