Gulp!

Synopsis:
Homer is a lifeguard at the beach on Coney Island. Chris is in love with Homer but Homer is straight. In a fit of depression Homer has arranged for a hit man to shoot him during a firework display.Chris goes for a dip but cannot swim and Homer rescues him. Having Chris in his arms stirs something in Homer. The hit man arrives disguised as a priest and Homer now has to persuade him not to fulfill his conract so that he and Chris can get together.

Written with Stephen Greco. Music by Scott Kingman. Lyrics by Robin Jones & J B Hamilton ("J.B. Hamilton was one of the pseudonyms in creating GULP!. I didn't want the critics to Attack me for having done so much on the show. Producing & directing it seemed quite enough. BTW, the ruse worked." - John Glines
