Kenneth Jones, a lyricist, librettist and playwright, is a member of The BMI-Lehman Engel Musical Theatre Workshop. He wrote book and lyrics for the musical comedy Voice of the City (composed by Elaine Chelton), which was first presented in The York Theatre Company's Developmental Reading Series Off-Broadway. A two-week Equity workshop of the show was produced by The Human Race Theatre Company in Dayton, OH., where Dayton City Paper named it one of the Top 10 theatre events of the year. He wrote lyrics and co-conceived Dear Santa, a darkly comic musical revue featuring adult actors singing letters to St. Nick (music and co-conception by composer Gerald Stockstill). It was seen in a summr 2007 concert at The Players Theatre in Greenwich Village. His current projects include a family-friendly Aesop's Fables musical called Rhymes With Aesop (with Dora Award-nominated Canadian composer Marek Norman); and shows with composer Roger Anderson. He lives in New York City, where he is managing editor for Playbill.com and a member of the Dramatists Guild.

Synopsis: | In 1906 Greenwich Village, a heretofore unadventurous typing girl named Sarah returns from her first vacation with news that she has met and become engaged to a farmer.
