Simon Jackson is a playwright, filmmaker and poet, born in Manchester, UK. He ran Living Arts Space Theatre Company from 1992 until 1995 then worked as a journalist, musician and teacher in Eastern Europe, North Africa and South America. He was Head of Drama at Newton College in Lima, Peru from 1998-2001. On returning to the UK he worked as a features writer for magazines including Take a Break, That's Life, Bella and Best and now lives in Edinburgh, writing plays and poems and making films, some of which have won things.

Synopsis:

Written with Theatre of Fire and the Irish band, Illywhacker, as a spectacular outdoor event involving circus performers, live music and lots of fireworks. It headlined the theatre bill for Glastonbuy 1994 and then toured outdoor venues and festivals in Northern Europe for two years.
