Born in Plymouth, Devon in 1982, Ian Hylands spent time in both the US and the UK as a child, starting to write at the age of 12. Ian Hylands was first published three years later with a review of a collection of Roald Dahl's short stories. Focusing exclusively on theatre/film writing, Ian Hylands was first commissioned by Rayon Productions to write the screen thriller Face to Face and has since written for producers in the US, UK and all over the world. Ian is currently working on an adaptation of "Dracula", an original TV show and his first original play. He resides in the south of England, with his wife, a lecturer and actress, and his son..
