Peter graduated from Oxford. He was the captain of the All-England Rugby Team. He worked for Oswald Mosley and later for the Daily Express as a political correspondent. Lord Beaverbrook, owner of the Daily Express sent him to investigate the Evangelical religious leader Frank Buchman. He was won over by Buchman and joined his group which eventually became the Moral Re-Armament Movement. All of his plays have themes of anti-Communism. When Buchman died - Peter Howard took over the Movement. He died in Peru in 1965.
