Sarah Hope is an emerging playwright and theatre maker who graduated from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Drama and Film Studies in 2008. During her studies, Sarah undertook a dramaturgical secondment for La Boite Theatre Company. Since graduating, Sarah has gained experience in a variety of theatrical projects as a director, writer, producer and performer in Brisbane and Darwin. She co-wrote and directed The Keeper for Tin Can Theatre in 2009. After facilitating a theatre program in Yirrkala in 2009, Sarah moved to Darwin. In 2010 she worked with Arts Access Darwin and CemeNTworx Theatre to devise and direct Jules Hearts Romeo, an adaptation of Romeo and Juliet for actors with a range of abilities. After attending the Fresh Ink National Studio in 2010 her piece was produced as part of atyp's 2011 season of Tell It Like It Isn't. Sarah directed and devised Sandfly 0820, a new work for the inaugural Parap Arts Festival in 2011.
