Synopsis: | Taking inspiration from Tobe Hooper, Chuck Palahniuk and David Lynch, Drunken Chorus descend into a dark and disturbing world of fear and tension. Combining short glimpses of violence, with long drawn out scenes of abject horror, the performance explores the role of rhythm and structure in the creation of suspense. It is a performance that questions our perceptions of horror; a performance full of darkness and silence; a performance that lies always in the shadow of some horrific act. | |||||
