Michael is the author of Oddjobbers; a monologist play, developed and produced by Wynn Handman at the American Place Theatre in New York, 1988. He is the co-author of Separating the Men from the Bull, having it's premiere at the Jungle Theatre in Minneapolis in 2004 and produced by Unofficial New York Yale Cabaret Theatre's inaugural season, 2005-06. Prior to the Jungle production, Bulls was a workshop in New York directed by Tony winner John Rando (Urinetown) and was selected for Williamstown Theatre Festival's 2002 season (due to schedule conflicts was not produced). Michael is a four-time finalist at Actors Theatre of Louisville's National Ten-Minute Play Contest with Helen of Peekskill, Shootin' the Bulls, Kissing Connie and Worst Year Ever. Two of those plays, Helen of Peekskill and Worst Year Ever were part of Octoberfest 2004 at Ensemble Studio Theatre. Full-length plays include UNDER THE HOOD (short-listed for Cape Cod Theatre Project, staged reading TrueNorth Theatre Project) and The STORY OF GOD, (also on short list for Cape Cod). He is the author of the children's adventure book, THE FISHERMAN, published by Macmillan/McGraw-Hill. He is a proud member of the Dramatists Guild
