Synopsis:
Shelf Life is a tongue-in-cheek, immersive, promenade experience that explores the meaninglessness of life in all its glory. The audience is catapulted through birth, life and death on a journey through the labyrinthine disused BBC London Studios at 35 Marylebone High Street, on a performance-led ascent through life in the modern world : from birth to school and the world of work, perhaps passing through university and marriage on the way until they reach that final inevitable deflation standing on a roof above the city, waiting for the wind to carry their spirits away. There are many ways to go through life but there is only one ending, and thats the same for everyone. Everybodys shell has a Shelf-Life.
