On 28th July 1932 Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy checked into the Grand Hotel, Tynemouth. They were on tour in the United Kingdom. The chambermaids dream of being discovered and whisked off to Hollywood. But one of them has a photograph given to her by the nuns who brought her up of her mother and Stan.
