Synopsis: | Theatre503 present a series of short plays which riff on the theme of "Coalition" - both in that they are all products of collaborations between playwrights and artists of other disciplines, and in that they all address in one way or another the new age of coalition government in which we find ourselves. You might say that a theatrical exploration of the current political situation could have come a little sooner; but coinciding as it does with the student riots and the general reaction to the October cuts, this project feels incredibly vital. There are ten pieces of work, split into a Blue Group and a Yellow Group (for Tories and Lib Dems, of course), which perform on alternate nights.

Synopsis: | It's the morning of Jo's wedding, but she can't remember the night before. Her engagement ring has vanished and the bridesmaids are on the verge of a catfight. Teetering on the edge of either the greatest moment or the biggest mistake of her life, Jo begins to question the nature of her feelings for her fiancee. Is she rushing headlong into a dangerously perfect future in a futile attempt to escape her past? I would become too much a part of you. Dissolve before your very eyes. Just a shadow, clutching at your heels, repeating your every step. You'd rip yourself free and I would have lost myself. Left like a puddle reflecting nothing but the sky, the whole universe in its vast utter emptiness.
