Ark, The

Synopsis:
a beautifully crafted and deeply touching play, 'The ark' charts the journey of a mother and her two grown up daughters following the death of Dad. By turns funny and moving, 'The ark' is the best new one act play for three women I have seen for years. although set in Swansea, this play is completely transferable to anywhere in the UK because of the honest universal humanity of its theme. I predict that 'The ark' will be winning festivals for some years to come.

Flesh And Blood

a vulgar comedy that makes serious points about racism, a state-of-the-art Welsh nation play that never gets out of the living room, a drama that is almost totally unbelievable yet absolutely spot-on in some details.

Mental

Synopsis:
Mental' is the story of two women with very different outlooks on life, who meet in unusual circumstances one night. Their conversation is both disturbing and hilarious and full of twists and turns. Does God have a sense of humour? What is the calorific value of sperm? If men did dishes would they have time to fight wars? Just some of the idle talk that women indulge in when they get together. Men wouldn't understand it but they don't cleanse and moisturize, do they?

Who's Afraid Of Rachel Roberts?

Synopsis:
From shy Welsh minister's daughter to Oscar-nominated, booze-soaked, foul-mouthed, fading Hollywood star. What happened to make it all go so wrong? With a chapel upbringing, RaDa training and award-winning roles in the original 'kitchen-sink' dramas, Saturday Night and Sunday Morning and This Sporting Life, Rachel Roberts was known for her fervour and passion. Then marriage to superstar Rex Harrison allowed her to live the Hollywood dream.
