Born in London Gerry has lived in Sydney for over 30 years. He has written a number of plays for radio and the theatre. His play The Visitor was nominated for an AWGIE. Greeting Cards won a Glen Eira Award His short plays are regularly performed at Short & Sweet Festivals. Prime Angus Buttock was a Sydney finalist and Return to Sender was awarded Best Drama Script. Rules is Rules played at the New Venture Theatre, Brighton in 2010. He has also co-written television and radio comedies with his wife Jackie. Sydney Plantagenet's Psychedelic Quest was broadcast live from the Sydney Opera House. Waiting on Jamie Oliver appeared at Sydney's Newtown Theatre in 2007, and The Blood on Helmut Lange at the Factory Theatre in 2009. Mission of Flowers played at London's Soho Theatre and Theatre 503 in 2010, and toured the Adelaide, Hollywood and Edinburgh Fringe Festivals in the same year.
