My Beautiful Laundrette

Synopsis:
Omar, a Pakistani teenager, persuades his white boyhood friend, Johnny, to help him run a decaying launderette that his Uncle Nasser has jokingly asked him to take charge of. Omar and Johnny become lovers, in spite of the ever-present menace of Johnny's vicious fascist friends and Omar's suspicious and Mafia-like family. Comic, sexy, brutal, and tender.
