Synopsis:
AMSTERDAMMED - a dark romantic comedy of bad manners, culture clashes and star-crossed lovers in the Eurozone. Set in the lobby of a vacant hostel in the notorious Red Light district, the play pits American DON and Dutch MARIEKE, in a sexy battle of wits and wills. AMSTERDAMMED plays between art and life, comedy and drama, memory and fantasy and it explores differences of class, culture, ethics, gender, generation, language, politics and religion, in a highly provocative and relentlessly humorous way. AMSTERDAMMED: sometimes limbo is as funny as hell.
