Synopsis:

The Man huddles in dirty undergarments in a foullooking room, on a bed cut away to reveal rusty springs. "I'm a sick man, a mean man" is his first line, which pretty much sets the tone. He relates sketchy fragments of a miserable life bereft of meaningful contact; we quickly recognise a depressed misanthrope with low self-esteem and serious hang-ups about interpersonal relations.
