Tim Gilvin is a composer lyricist and has been writing musicals for six years. His first show, In the Rush Hour, was performed at the University of Birmingham in 2011, where he studied Music. Gap Year: A Musical Comedy was performed at various venues including Oxford Old Fire Station and Leicester Square Lounge in 2012. Several musicals later, and Stay Awake, Jake won the S&S Award in 2014. Under the wing of MMD, the show had wonderful exposure and opportunity for development with a great team. Tim has also self-produced pop tracks played on BBC Radio 6, as a solo act and with his band, Fallingham Fair. Current projects include Kew Gardens, an adaptation of a short story by Virginia Woolf.

Synopsis:
Jamie Muscato stars in an award winning new musical, charting the journey of Jake, who drives through the night from London to Carlisle. Over the course of his journey we gradually discover why. The show is a musical in close-up, and tells a story of guilt, of change, of hope, and what it means to be a man in the modern day

Notes:
Vaults Festival 2016. As the winning show of the S&S Award 2014, Stay Awake, Jake was given an abridged performance at the St. James Theatre (with Norman Bowman directed by Simon Grieff), a weeks development hosted by Leicester Curve, and an industry showcase at Leicester Square Theatre.
