Mark-Eugene Garcia is the author of several plays and musicals. He is also a resident playwright of the F.A.C.T. Theatre Company and studied book and lyric writing with the Academy of New Musical Theatre. His musicals include THE HOLY COWS OF CREDENCE SOUTH DAKOTA, THE JOURNEY, and most recently FACING EAST, while his plays include MISSED CONNECTIONS and KEYS. He focuses on intimate stories and unique relationships, usually involving the strength of family, friendships, faith, and unlikely connections. His works have been included in the Los Angeles Festival of New Works, The Puzzle: Marble's Festival of New Works, Untucked: Five Plays about LGBT Culture, F.A.C.T.
