From grieving parents left with only a photo of their deceased son to a cheeky calendar photo shoot, the collection of short plays looks at the medium from a variety of angles and offers searing, heartfelt and even funny riffs on Sontag's commentary. The evening serves as a modern call and response between cultural criticism and performing arts." | |||||
