Nick Gandiello is from Long Island, New York, and currently lives in NYC. Nick is a member of the Ars Nova Play Group. In NYC, his play Travis Winters was the winner of Best Play and Audience Favorite at the American Globe Theatre, and his play Screen was presented in the Samuel French OOB Play Festival at the Lion Theatre. Other NYC writing credits include Still Jackie with UglyRhino Productions, Keepers with Unity Stage Company, and Can't Imagine with BoX the Outside Theatre. Travis Winters was also presented by Bridgeport Theatre Company in CT, and Nick's play Ithaca was presented by Generic Theatre Company in Washington DC. In 2010, Nick was invited to a writer's residency at Blue Mountain Center, where he worked on his play Off the Realness. Nick is active in mentoring through Young Playwrights Inc.: He has been a one-on-one dramaturg for young writers in both the company's Urban Retreat program and the National Conference, and has also provided feedback to dozens of authors by letter. MFA in Playwriting, The New School for Drama.
