Biography and Notes (further contributions welcome) :

L.R. Greenaway was born and raised in Christchurch, New Zealand where he studied acting at Court Theatre under the tutorage of Yvette Bromley. As an actor/singer/director he has performed in and/or directed over 50 plays and musicals for the stage, radio and television in New Zealand, England and Canada. He is married with four grown children and came to Canada in 1980. He and his wife (LIda) are founders/owners of Starfire Acting Studio and Starfire Productions... which they combined into Starfire Theatre Centre in 2001 in Welland, Ontario where he is the Artistic Director and Adult Program Director. In 1999 he founded the only Men's-Support-Group in the Niagara area which he runs weekly. He lives with his wife on a horse farm in Wainfleet, Ontario. His writing includes fiction, essays, and travelogues, as well as plays. He is currently working on two full-length plays, an adaptation and a short story collection.
