Anna Fox is an alliterative amalgamation of performer/poet/playwright and aspiring astrologer. Her work has been produced at The Williamstown Theatre Festival, The Eugene O Neill Theatre Center, NYCfringe, Tongue in Cheek Theatre, Wide Eyed Productions, and Route 66 Theatre in Chicago. Her play Ginny was The Jury Prize winner of Fusion Theatre Companys Ninth Annual The Seven short play festival in 2014, and her one woman show Our Common Deception is featured in the UK-based literary publication Bare Fiction Magazine. She has partaken in Pataphysics workshops at The Flea, and is an alumni of The Eugene O Neill Theater Centers Advanced Playwriting Program. She is also the co-founder and producer of The Pioneer Valley New Works Festival, taking place each summer in her idyllic hometown of Amherst, MA. She is also in the process of inventing a granola bar, writing a childrens book, and can often be found performing in musicals with kids on the autism spectrum. BS Skidmore College. She will begin an MFA in playwriting at UCLA in the fall.

Ghosts

Synopsis:
First staged in 1882, this updated adaptation brings Ibsens scathing commentary of morality into the 1920s aristocracy. What right have we human beings to happiness? Helen Alving is dedicating an orphanage to the memory of her late husband Captain Alving. She is desperate to conceal his philandering past, and to protect their only son, Oswald, from his fathers legacy. But as Oswalds nature begins to feel all too familiar, any hope of success is reduced to ashes. there are some legacies that cannot be hidden.

Ginny

Synopsis:
Ginny finds a note in the attic. Her father watches TV. You can never fix the hole she left.

The Samuel French staff would like to congratulate the 30 playwrights selected to participate in the 40th Annual Off Off Broadway Short Play Festival! Chosen from nearly fifteen-hundred submissions (a record breaking number) both in the U.S. and abroad, these 30 plays will be presented in New York from August 3  9, 2015. Out of these plays, six winners will be selected by the Samuel French, Inc. editorial staff to receive publication and licensing contracts.
