Mark Fletcher has come to writing late and is working hard to catch up. He started a software company in 1981 and still owns that and another business today. Mark started writing in 1998 and his first play, CHASING RABBITS, was a huge hit here, in the US and Canada racking up over 250 performances. A 35mm film version has been a big hit on the overseas festival circuit where it has picked up several awards. Mark's other plays, SUNSET BBQ, DATING JOE, COCKTAIL and TEETHING PROBLEMS have received excellent reviews in productions here and overseas. Mark collaborated with Martin Croft and Dean Lotherington to turn DATING JOE into a musical, JOE STARTS AGAIN which starts a national tour in2004. Mark has just completed post-production on SWEET DREAMS with Kevin Dee, a new 35mm short film which he wrote and directed. His next play, PUBLIC AFFECTION is scheduled for production soon.
