Cast: Letty Butler, Antony Stuart-Hicks, James Huntington, Chris Fittock. recorded and edited by Lee Dalley.
Synopsis:
Set between 1934 and 1971, 'Tunnel' is the story of the construction of Liverpool's two Mersey Tunnels. It is also the story of the turmoil felt by an ordinary Liverpudlian struggling to commemorate his past without sacrificing his future. Archie, like his father before him - and, he hopes, his son after him - is employed in the construction of one of the tunnels - to the detriment of his marriage and family life, with ultimately tragic consequences.
