Shawn Fisher is a playwright, designer and director who currently runs the MFA program in theatre design at Utah State University. A native of NJ, Shawn has worked professionally as a designer throughout the United States. As a playwright he has written several plays including SCOPE, Chumming, The News: August 4, 2005, The Commodore Murder and The Crow Song. Chumming, a short-form play, was workshopped at The Kennedy Center in Washington. SCOPE and "The News" were produced by The Fusion Theatre Project, an ensemble-based socially-minded theatre group founded and directed by Fisher.
