Jessica Marie Fisher was born and raised in New Jersey, went to NYU Tisch for undergrad, and relocated to Phoenix, AZ September of 2020. Her play "Rules for Coming Out When You're in the Driver's Seat of Your Mom's Camry" was developed from 2015-2019, was a finalist in the Strawberry One Act Festival (under the name "Welcome to Narnia") and was published by Original Works Publishing in May of 2019. Since then Jessica was a resident at The Hickory Playground in North Carolina July 2019, where she wrote "Couzinz Club!!!", and in January 2020 put up the One-Act version of "Imagined Dialogs..." at the 2020/Something Festival in New York City. "Rules for Coming Out..." will be performed virtually by the Muhlenberg College Theatre Program October 17-18 2020.

Synopsis:
Corrine is a 17-year-old religious, hardworking girl living in 2010 Colorado Springs. Veronica used to be Corrine's babysitter, but is now a 27-year-old drug dealer. Corrine orders ritalin for studying and Veronica is the deliverer. It's an unexpected reunion that leads to plenty of discoveries. This play is about queerness, relationships, growing up, sex, imagination, and loneliness.

"Rules For Coming Out..." is the coming out story for people who are tired of unnecessarily dramatic and unrealistic coming out stories. Almost nobody KNOWS completely what their sexuality is  most people have to find the answers through trial and error. Lauren and Liam navigate love, sex, family, identity, relationship abuse and the sticky in-between of queer adolescence, while working through their own imperfect friendship.
