JENNIFER FAWCETT is the NNPN Emerging Playwright in Residence at Curious Theatre Company for the 2008/09 Season and a graduate of the Iowa Playwrights' Workshop. Productions in the US and Canada include THEN / AFTER / WATER (Available Light Theatre, Columbus), GOAT SHOW (Riverside Theatre, Iowa City; SummerWorks Festival, Toronto, Blyth Festival, Tarragon Theatre's Summer Arts Fair, Mutton Busting Perfromance Art Festival), THE DISAPPEARANCE OF JANEY JONES (Waterfront Theatre, Vancouver; Hatchery Festival, Washington DC; SummerWorks Theatre Festival, Toronto; Canadian Fringe Festival tour), and THE TOYMAKER'S WAR (Iowa New Play Festival). She is the winner of the Theater Masters National MFA Playwriting Award for her short play, THE ECHO, and the KCACTF National Science Playwriting Award for THE ATLAS OF MUD (previously called TWENTY MOMENTS IN THE SPACE BETWEEN). In the coming months, her work will be presented at the University of Kansas KCACTF, Underground Railway Theatre (Boston), The Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard, 2009 Cultural Conversations at Penn State University, Theater Masters, Aspen, Palm Beach Dramaworks, and the NNPN National Showcase of New Plays. As an actress she has performed at Theatre Passe Muraille, Iowa Summer Repertory, Upper Canada Playhouse, Annex Theatre, Equity Showcase Theatre and in the television shows MONK (USA Network), CHRISTMAS ON DELANCEY STREET and NODDY AND FRIENDS.
