Roi Escudero, known as 'Bubia', is a conceptual-performance art-installation artist and dramatist, designer and director of media-art theatre and originator of performance-cinemaTM, a virtual installation of multimedia and live performance. ETdC Projects' trademark. She was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Her French, Italian and Spanish background exposed her to different cultures. In her country she appeared in films, TV shows, and in theatrical productions. RCA Records, Argentina, produced her songs. Bubi won a "Gauchito de Plata" for her musical visual theatre: Donald Sol y Luna scored by Donald Mc Cluskey. Since then she has conceived her own theatrical concept: Environmental Theatre de Camara Projects and ETdC Projects PERFORMANCE ART & MEDIA-THEATRE EXPERIMENTAL CREATIVE LAB. In the USA Bubi conceived, designed and directed more than fifty performance-art pieces, media-theatre concepts and multimedia installations for museums, art galleries, cultural events for patrons of the arts, educational institutions and theatre festivals. Bubi's work appeared at the Contemporary Museum, Baltimore, and Los Angeles County Museum Gallery (LACMA). Bubi's New York credits include: Federico Garcia Lorca, A Poetic Performance, designed and directed at The Nuyorican Poets Cafe and at the Spanish Institute; BUBULINOS DREAMS, a series of contemporary connected tales, conceived, written, designed and directed at the NY Fringe 1999-2000; The Colonel's Wife, by Mario Fratti (NINE) performed in, designed and directed at Fringe-NYC-2001 and at the MITF-2003; After Charlie and La Playa at The New York Musical Theatre Festival -2004-2005. Winter 2006: art-designer for John Chatterton's play Beyond The Veil. Currently Bubi is residing in NYC. She is the Artistic Director/Lead Designer of ETdC Projects and artist-in residence at The Children's Aid Society, at The Philip Coltoff Greenwich Village Center. In addition, Bubi conceived and created a program for youth: Larger Than Life, an artistic prototype of self expression. The program is lead by Bubi and developed by the artists and her EtdC Projects' Performance Art & Media Theatre Experimental Creative Lab. Also Bubi is working on her new media-play Antonina¬¦Mon Artaud. The performance-cinema piece will be 'happeninga' at different venues during the 2007 seasons
