David is a writer, director, producer and actor originally from Chicago. Recent collaborations include writing and directing the Broadway musical in development, Go West, about the life and times of The Village People, Executive Producer: Moritz Borman (Exec. Prod. of W, Terminator Salvation, Alexander); Henri Belolo (multi-platinum record producer of The Village People); and Onda Entertainment, LLC. In 2005-2006, he directed and co-produced the Off-Broadway premiere of Coronado in collaboration with its writer Dennis Lehane (author of Mystic River, Shutter Island and winner of the National Book Award). David is a four-time published playwright with Smith Kraus Books and his plays are produced across the country from Venice Playhouse, Madison Tech, NCSA, NYU, Niagara University, to the late, great, Manhattan Theatre Source. He is recipient of a 2008 Panavision New Film Maker's Grant; a 2006 Independent Theatre Award Nomination (producer, Best New Play); and named "People of the Year, 2004," by nytheatre.com. He graduated from Tisch School of the Arts at New York University with the award for Best Actor in the short film he associate produced, Ground Level B, written and directed by Andres Heinz (screenwriter, Black Swan). David teaches acting and writing in New York and Los Angeles at www.actorclass.com. He has been a guest speaker at The Network as well as the MFA program for acting at NYU, Tisch. Since 2002, he resides as Artistic Director of Invisible City Theater Company which puts the focus on original work. ICTC produced all of David's original plays, plus the premiere productions of Dennis Lehane's, Coronado, Anthony Jaswinski's, Airport Hilton, and Rebecca Louise Miller's west coast hit, Fault Lines. He sends endless gratitude to the Denton's, who continue to champion artists who would otherwise never get the exposure they need to progress in their career.

Midnight

Synopsis:
Every good play becomes a mediocre movie. -- It is the winter of 1954. Neurotic Hollywood director James Halloway checks into the Ritz to try and salvage his career at a meeting with a powerful producer. Bumbling bellboys, out-of-work actors, drunken lawyers, loudmouth floozies and street-smart thugs, all converge at a mile a minute in this door slamming period farce.
