Synopsis: Based on the true testimony of women who have survived domestic abuse Walking Away was written using the documentary style with particular reference to Theatre of Testimony, a form of theatre, which uses real people's real words to give a voice to those who often don't have the opportunity to be heard. A tribute to the strength and courage of these women the play follows the stories and extraordinary experiences of real women who have somehow found the strength to walk away from domestic abuse. | ||||
