Follow the Leader         Whiskey, Beer And Apple Pie

Follow the Leader

Synopsis:
Panicked Productions presents this program of seven original short plays about cults. "Inside" offers a glimpse into a cult-like society where people are just numbers who surrender all personal attachments to the world outside&but what happens when the bond between two sisters puts this crazy society's order to the test? In "Replacing the Hendersons" a lonely and slightly psychotic couple attempts to get to know their new neighbors (with deadly consequences). "The Second Life" centers on peer pressure faced by two members in an online fantasy community. In "Fat Jesus" a personal trainer introduces his new client to the joys of fitness, but muscles aren't the only thing getting whipped into shape as he learns his client may be the infamous leader of a local cult. "Gymnastics Class" centers on two mothers who, while watching their daughters' practice, discuss the importance of sticking with the discipline of Gymnastics, no matter how difficult it may seem. In "What's On My Mind?" a High School misfit tormented by a bully is a star and leader in his own imagination. In "Across New Universe" elements in the "Pre-Bang" universe discuss their fears about ascending into a new world.
