Synopsis: | Two middle-aged sisters find the strength to leave their troubled pasts behind with the help of some flower seeds and a fertile plan. Azalea Jackson lives on a rural dairy farm is upstate New York. Her greatest joy is to someday plant a flower garden but her controlling husband Chuck thinks flowers are decadent and a waste of time. For many years Azalea has been the victim of his alcoholism and lives in constant fear of his violent outbursts. When her older sister Cora Tompkins, a hard working free spirit visits bringing an innocent gift of potted flowers, it sparks a chain of events that change both of their lives forever.
