Julie Eble has authored three full-length plays and numerous one-acts and shorts. audiences in America, Canada, and Ireland have enjoyed readings of her plays, which have been finalists and semi-finalists in such competitions as Interact Theatre's Festival of New Plays, 1999 (White Petals); the Mildred and albert Panowski Playwriting Competition, 1999 (White Petals); Jewel Box Theatre Playwriting Competition, 1997 (Hold the Mustard); and the West Coast Ten-Minute Play Festival, 1999 (Vera Takes Her Seat). Her play Braid My Hair was adapted for public access television in Fairfax, Virginia. although writing and theatre are her passions, Ms. Eble keeps herself fed by running a consulting and scientific management company in Newport, Delaware.

Synopsis:
amidst the turmoil of the sixteenth century's religious intolerance, Queen Catherine de Medici of France vies for the love of King Henry II against his older mistress, Diane de Poitiers. When Henry dies in a jousting tournament, a battle for power erupts in the French court.
